For complaints like
inflated abdomen,
nausea, loss of appetite, vomiting, stomach pain, flatulence, burning and
pressure behind the breastbone (heartburn, feeling of the globe), difficulty
swallowing, persistent dry cough, vomiting blood, black stool (tarry stool),
heartburn, diarrhea, blood in the stool
Diagnosis of
Inflammation of the
stomach, Helicobacter pylori, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, gastric and
esophageal cancer, esophagitis, diaphragmatic rupture, gluten intolerance,
eosinophilic esophagitis, thrush, MALT lymphoma, autoimmune gastritis (vitamin
B12 deficiency)
Best suited because
direct examination
under view, display of the smallest changes, display of optical changes,
sampling possible, direct therapy possible. Can be performed under sleep
anesthesia without any complaints.
