Gastroenterology is a specialization in internal medicine and requires a specialist in internal medicine (internist), who is supplemented by several years of further training.

Gastroenterology is concerned with the diagnosis and therapy of diseases of the esophagus (esophagus), stomach, liver (hepatology), colon (colon), gallbladder, biliary tract, pancreas (pancreas) and small intestine.

Typical symptoms such as diarrhea, bleeding, cramp-like pain (colic), flatulence (meteorism), weight loss, jaundice (jaundice) and pain can be caused by polyps, tumors, infections or even jammed stones.

Gastroenterology, hepatology (liver diseases) and ultrasound are the main focuses of our practice.
